This week is British Pie Week, which is always held during the first full week in March. Launched in 2007 by Jus Rol, it's become a popular awareness week (might have something to do with us being a nation of pie lovers!)

British Pie Week is a great opportunity to get the whole family involved in creating your own unique pie. From savoury to sweet desert, crumble to flaky pastry, there's lots of ways to create your own special masterpiece.

One recipe that's caught our eye is a delicious venison pot pie with red wine and mushrooms. A fabulous way to warm up after a long walk on a fresh spring day.
