Game farm

We have been rearing game birds for many years, mainly French and English Partridges and Pheasants. Our game farming starts in Spring when laying birds are penned for mating and egg production. From April onwards the eggs are hatched in incubators. Chicks are either delivered to customers or placed into our rearing huts and grass reared. Whilst growing, the birds are given controlled access to a natural outdoor environment which is protected from predators.

All our game birds are constantly monitored and cared for by our experienced rearing team. We work closely with our vets to insure bird welfare is always managed to the highest standards possible.

Once birds reach the correct age they are delivered locally to customers or released into our own shoot. With vast experience of running our own shoot we fully understand the characteristics required in a game bird to produce the best qualities needed for a truly sporting bird.
